The
PAMIR, 50ft,
25 ton converted work and fishing boat build for the Cook Strait conditions
of New Zealand and licensed in safe ship management. She is immensely
strong with a bridge fully equipped with the latest navigational and
fish finding electronics, radar, autopilot, all safety equipment and
a dive platform.
Skipper and owner Neville has been working and skippering the Pamir
since 2003. Neville has been fishing and diving the Cook Strait, Wanganui
and Patea since 1985 and has a wealth of experience.
The Pamir can also tow barges, transport people and goods across the strait.
Tramping
and kayaking trips can be arranged with accommodation on Board.
Trips rates are affordable and good wholesome
meals are served. Facilities include a full sized hot shower and
toilet. There is also 230 volt power and a freezer available. The
spacious, comfortable saloon and bunk room provide a convivial environment
for you and your friends.
The PAMIR can carry up to 20 people for day fishing and diving trips and provide 8 birth accommodation for overnight trips. Shore accommodation can be arranged if preferred for small or larger parties in one of the many lodges throughout the Sounds.
